Back to 99 and my brother is pissed.

He paid 119 and cpo just changed the price to 99, 15 minutes after he paid.

If they  dont refund  the difference for the guys that paid more than 99 I am certain they will be getting some nasty emails

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain company contacted them to straighten them out since they are a dealer...lol  [wink] Not for a price issue, but the whole ethics of the situation is a little messed up.

I'm shocked by this message! You're calling people thieves for doing EXACTLY what you do. You buy Festool products low and sell them high so your company can make a profit. It's okay for you to do it but not anyone else? You do this at a much larger scale than any aftermarket reseller so if there is anything unethical about selling a tool for a profit maybe you should close up shop. Funny how it's okay for you to do it but not anyone else.

That is not what I said. Apparently you did not read it correctly.  I order my  and sell my tools for my customers for a stated price, as a reflection of supply and demand, except when an item gets discontinued and we need to get it out of stock. Just like any other type business - end of season sale,etc.
  I wonder what people would think of me or other dealers if we had some sanders left over or ya know, stashed away for that easy higher coin, and after this died down offered it for sale at a way higher or even moderately higher price. Illegal, nope. The right thing? Not in my book.

Boys, boys, we need to stop all this judgmental arguing.  FOG doesn't need all this. It has gotten way outside the concept of a discussion.

If someone buys  a sander they can do what ever they want with it. And whatever that is, it may or may not be deemed right or wrong by various other people (not talking legal or illegal here). Sell it for $1000, smash it up with a sledge hammer, or give it to a friend. Each individual will deal with the consequences of his own accord. No point in taking it to the alley ( so to speak ) on FOG. This has become one of those forum wrecking types of threads.

I am starting to think that this particular thread serves no real purpose other than letting people know that CPO has sanders for sale.  [poke]
