Problems with Domino switch

I recently bought the Domino and the switch on it isn't working very well. I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully fixed this. The green switch keeps falling of or it sticks preventing it from either turning off or turning on. Now, I could just return the thing or send it in but I hate to waste the time.  It seems like a pretty straight forward  fix, just clip it back in, but it refuses to stay put. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the plastic is broken and that's why it won't stay put.

I would contact Festool Service at  800-554-8741 . They will help you out on this issue for sure...

Yep, contact Festool service for that one. They will get it squared away in less time that it will take you to fiddle with it.

Hi,

This has just happened to me and my Domino is only a month old. The first time it went I was unable to turn the thing off which was a little hairy. Anyway, I have pushed it back on and I can use the tool. Like you I am reluctant to part with it.

What did you do in the end? Did it have to be fixed by Festool?
