I have a question re: Product #484715, False Joint Set

I'm not clear what to use this accessory for. I have the ATF55E and I am looking for a parallel guide (similar to 491469 used with the TS55). Will this fill a similar need?

Or, would the 491469 fit on an ATF55E?

When searching the forum, it is better to use the name of the item.  People do not alway includes the part number in their posts.
