Promaster build

Unfortunately I had to trade in my 350 diesel  :'( I needed more room for my ever growing tool collection.  I got a 21 promaster and just wanted to share the progress so far. I'm always having to swap out tool boxes and systainers for what my current need is at the time and I wanted to be able to change the shelving height on the fly.  Dados for days lol

[popcorn] watching this one.  I love the utility of these pro masters, not so much the looks... but its still tempting. I also love seeing the ingenuity of what folks come up with when out fitting them. Out of curiosity why dados over something like the Hafele Rafix?

Not that those would have been any more difficult to do with the Origin but I didn't want to complicate or over think how to do the shelves.  Just wanted to simply if need be slide out a packout box, move the plywood base and slide in a systainer or whatever else it could be at the moment.. no tools to move tools, just move and done.  And more so I didn't want to be limited to a size of one specific type of box so I wanted something that could work with everything

Regarding your drawer, what size wood are you using for the carcass and dividers please?

Will do,  working on it today so should have some pics later on.  The drawer under the seat is 3/4' with 1/4" dividers and the tall shelving units are all 3/4"

All the contours in vehicles make it so hard to build anything in them, it's never straight forward.

Thanks, yup the contour of the inside is a pain but I decided to cut the shelving uprights to the contour because otherwise plumbing the walls would have lost a good amount of space on each side. Only down side to that was that some shelves are a little deeper than others as far as the batch cutting goes. 
  The area left between the shelves and the back seat will have 2 upper drawers and some more shelving below them. Basically same design as the shelving uprights but half the size with drawers on the top.  Probably have a plywood top with charges and some other misc. stuff . Then contoured to the top of the wall/ceiling will be a kinda open face cubby with dividers for more stuff.  The other wall will be more bulky stuff chop saw,  table saw and stuff like that

Thanks,  I just wanted to make everything accessible and easy to find stuff for when I send someone out to the van for something and want to be able to swap shelves around for different boxes and systainers, unfortunately the van is in for service so no work this weekend
