I am jealous. I play with labels, you render. As you render, remember we need space to put tool labels - It would be tragic to cover up your work! I have located a source for silver, permanent - ul listed labels. White just wouldn't do your masterpieces justice.

The problem of labels falling off could be solved by a 0.5mm recessed and non-textured surface where the labels go. It would allow better surface adhesion and protect the label edges from getting lifted. Tell the siblings at Tanos. ;-)

Peter Halle said:Labels would be cheaper I'm sure. One reason for thinking about a solid background is that on a clear label a dark logo wouldn't stand out. Also on a clear, you can't print white. A white label would allow white but would stick out. A silver would prevent white printing but would give glitz. I bought a new add on to photoshop that I will play with again later.
Why is it that I am spending so much on software now and so little on Festool? Hope that changes soon.
