Prototype sysport design ( Finally made the real thing!!!!!! )

You can order a single systainer with a custom colour from Tanos. But if you want a logo imprinted on it you'll need to start with a 50 units minimum.

I currently have 36 Systainers, so I guess I need to purchase another 14 tools.  Well, no, that won't work either unless I want several duplicates.  Sure would flood the market with used grey-colored Systainers...  [scared]

Of course the next step could be Fogarel.  The first FOG shirt made to promote the FOG at the Gary Katz roadshow.  Limited edition - 1 of 1

How about Fogards:  Fog cards printed to give out to promote the forum at the Roadshow.

And you thought that all I did was look for bad words - hah!  Shane and Forrest are probably rolling on the floor laughing at me right now.

Actually I am laughing at myself!

Are those t shirts available ?  Sad i know but i want one  [blink]

Woodguy,

Would you really wear one on the other side of the pond and advertise the FOG?  I'm not being sarcastic - I really want to know.  If there is enough interest, I might consider something where the profits go to charity or something that will benefit Foggers.

Peter

sounds sad but i like the fog being festool owners little secret or at least those festool owners who really care about their work and tools enough to come on here and help others out i would like some festool t shirts or polos

FOG t-shirts, now you're talking.  Maybe a tie in with the FOG charities contest?  Proceeds to the winner's charity?

Either way, put me in for a few x larges ;)

Dan

I'd love to see a T-shirt made up with just the FOG without green background and other text.

Peter, was your shirt made with a printer?

Brice,

That could happen.

I did not create the FOG logo that is on the home page of the forum and that I used for my tshirt.  I had permission to personally use it in conjunction with something else I was working on for the FOG.  I have asked now for permission to use the that logo publicly for non - monetary gain.

The other stuff you don't want is what I came up while playing around with labels for the group I affectionately call my Piggies.

I would venture a guess that you wouldn't want a tshirt with the image from my avatar?

Yes I make my own.  I started when I started as a contractor.  Couldn't afford retail prices.  When they get unprofessional I throw them away.  I am designing and making t-shirt prototypes for two other companies I'm setting up.  The tshirt pictured is the worlds most expensive.  About $175.  I decided to use a laser transfer because they last longer.  The instructions were terrible.  I ended up inserting it the wrong way and it then glued itself inside my color laser printer [eek].  One laser printer head unit later, I'm back to playing.

See, I'm serious about laughing at myself everyday.

They have been calling me the handsome carpenter. [big grin]

Darcy,

You are the one exclaimed that your new Festool baseball cap was a go to church hat weren't you?  Don't lie I have witnesses.  And the one who professed to the cutting of his own hose - hose on your dust collector - weren't you?

I read your posts - I admire your grit and enthusiam and it makes me want to be 20 years younger.  Not!  But I love your grit, enthusiasm, and posts.

Keep smiling.  Tomorrow is going to be a great day!

Alrighty then Im finally done with my FOGstainer concept. I added some of the new lock latches to the front, I know alot of people would just take the whole thing if they really wanted it but when i was working for a company i left my tools and systainers there. I ended up spending a couple of month in hospital and when i came back i tell I was not happy with the guys. They used most of my tools, blades where blunt, and a few new dings as well. So if i had the choice i would want the locks on there.

Now for the label bit. I thought it would work well if there was a recessed piece of perspex that would clip into the front of the FOGtainer. The 4 holes you see would just be there to allow you to clip the panel out from the inside using a pencil. This way there is no chance of labels coming off and they would stay clean to. Anyway those are my thoughts on the matter, feel free to add any suggestions or changes you think would work well.

Those locks are a good thought.  It might also help keep youngsters out of trouble with Dad...
