Will this void my warranty?
You probably wonder why. The dust extraction port was plugged solid with dust from sanding stained MDF and teak that had not dried 100%.
When i went to use the sander today it was collecting zero dust. I checked all my connections then realized the last time i had used it when i was done i went to vacuum and blow the tool down and i could bot believe how caked it was with thick pasty like dust. Being teak is so oil and well sanding MDF that is only 85% dry i was not surprised. I sure as hell did not expect it to be completely clogged though. Especially being i blew the tool down with compressed air including the dust port and holes in the pad.
So if i sent it in and then noticed the screws have been removed but don't see a prior factory repair order are they going to care?
