purchasing on FOG

If I were to purchase a tool from another person on the FOG site is the warranty transferable to me and if so how do I accomplish this

The warranty is transferable. I would encourage you to try to obtain a copy of the proof of purchase in case it's needed. Also, I would encourage you to register the tool on our website in your name. There's an option for whether the tool is new or used.
