Question about my New Festool Vac ct 26

Hello,
I am new to Festool and of course this group.
My first purchase was a vac, Kapex, and ets ec 125.
My question refers to the vac. I am often unplugging cords and switching out different diameter hoses.i am going to get the blast gates/y splitter.
But as far as the cords go; Can I use a splitter for the receptacle so I am not always unplugging cords from the vac? Another thought was maybe plugging the Festool vac into an IVAC 2 tool module. This way I can plug 2 tools into the IVAC module and in theory it would turn on the vac. I just don’t know about electricity limitations. Will this work? Does anyone have there own solutions for having multiple tools constantly plugged into their vac?

Yes, you can use a splitter for the receptacle, and if either tool turns on, the vac will too.

I live in Europe and have 220v vacs, in which I used to have the auxiliary receptacle installed, with my first ctl26 I bought both versions. At first I used the non auto start version, so I could use the vac as an extentioncord, without it turning on. I found out that it's way more annoying to have the vac NOT run when you do want it to if you use the wrong socket by accident, then to have the vac running for a while when it's not needed.
I haven't done the modification yet to be able to  have both the bluetooth module and the auxiliary socket installed, so I currently only have the bluetoothmodules installed.
