Question about the new hose fittings

I finally built a stationary workbench for the Kapex in my shop.  Although I already have several suction hoses, they're either too long or too short to connect the CT36 where I want it parked.  I noticed the new hose design and thought this would be a good opportunity to justify buying one to try out.  I only need 4 meters.  I was thinking of buying the 7 meter hose and cutting off 3 meters to use on my MFT (with the idea that it won't "drag" on the rail as bad as the current hose).

My question...what type of hose connector does the new hose use?...i.e, can I reuse connectors from the "old" ribbed hose or do I need a "new style" connector?  If it's a new style, does anyone know the part numbers for the "male" and "female" connectors for the 36mm hose?  Thanks.

Ok, I called Festool and the new hoses use new model numbers for the fittings:

500670 and 202860.

One more comment on this subject.  I attempted to take a fitting off the new style hose today.  One of the parts that screws into the hose (similar to the "old" design) is a left hand thread and was VERY hard to break free.  I was twisting the entire hose to the point where I thought I might damage the hose.  Consistent strong pressure finally got it to move.  The new cover presses up into a recess in the fitting, when screwed on, creating the tight fit.

BTW, as others have mentioned, this hose is way more flexible than the old style.  The plastic in the hose appears a bit thinner, so I'm not sure about long term durability.  However, for now, it seems like a nice upgrade.
