Question for LR32 experts?

Hi,
    I'm about to build some shelves for an office and want to use the LR32 pin hole system but don't want to buy the LR32 system set. I have the holey rail, 1010 router, and 5mm bit needed already. My question is can I just buy the Festool #494340 guide plate and be done? I can also order the centering mandrel if needed. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Yes, you can use a pair of combination squares (or something else) to space the guide rail from the edge of the workpiece.

That part should come with the centering mandrel.

You are correct, I just looked it up and it does include the mandrel, thanks again for the help.
