How do rack systainers preform when tipped on their backs?
I'd like to use one as the bottom box loaded on a SysRoll.
I generally load the SysRoll the long way in my car. I'm hoping the rack systainer
does not let it's contents migrate in this position.
Thanks for any help!

It is going to depend on what you have in the compartments.  The lids of the actual individual boxes are not that rigid.  They flex quite a bit, thus the potential for a quick mess.

I have a few boxes in one of my Rack-Systainers dedicated to machines screws and washers.  I can't tip these boxes at all or things will be mixed all over in the other compartments.  I don't even dare carry them by the handles!

On the other hand, I have a box where I keep various lengths of lag bolts.  I can carry that one by the handle with no shifting of anything.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to keep supplies for installations in them.
It would mostly consist of different size screws and anchors. It sounds like the smaller
screws would not do well in them.
I guess I could strap one to the top of a t-loc, and just remove it before putting it in the car.

I think if you just fill the spaces between the rack cases in the Racktainer you would be fine. Just need to keep the lids from flexing. So probably even cardboard the right thickness slipped into the Racktainer between the cases.

I used to have my rack systainer at the bottom of the sysroll. It was never an issue but I also never stored it horizontally. In the end I took it off and made a fixed spot for it in my van. It is quite heavy!
