Questions about mini Systainers

I'm just now learning about Systainers and I can't find info on mini Systainers and how compatible they are with other units.  I thought I read on here that they stack onto midi units but I can't find any info regarding this.

Also how do the minis fit into the Sys 1,2,3 etc?  How many can you fit? Do they have to be stacked a certain way?

The classic minis would fit sideways into a classic Systainer, that doesn't work anymore since the introduction of the T-Loc Systainers.
They stack with each other just like their bigger brethren but are not compatible to them in any way. Available mini sizes are only size 1 and 3.

I like them for small tools like dremels and any sort of paraphernalia (or even the CXS, fits perfectly in a Sys Mini size 1!)

Believe what Hawkeye says is correct.
Aren't the new Systainer 3s a little different wrt internal dimensions?
I know been a lot of coverage of these, but the fine details have gone over my head.
Wonder if the Mini systainers would fit into any of them?

I have lots of both sizes and find them indispensible.

Okay that would explain why I couldn't find any info.  So I guess they just stack inside the bigger boxes. Bummer

I love the minis, they only stack with each other.  I have at least 15, great for all sorts of uses.  I keep six Milwaukee  5.2 batteries in a 3, both of Milwaukee's new die grinders in an other.  I keep nut drivers, metric and imperial in two others.  Ec, ec.

I have my CXS set up with the top box containing the drill, battery (must be removed to fit) and extra chuck; second box is the set of Centrotec driver bits; third box is a Tanos divided box with a selection of wood screws. Since they all lock together, it’s easy to carry the three boxes together.

Another mini holds my Parf dogs and rail clips.

When I figure out a way to use them for something else, I will tend to use the minis. They’re sooo cute!

I have 3
One for Kreg pocket screws
One for 1/4” router bits
And one for drill driver bits and other drill related things.

Handy little boxes, but they are just related to each other, won’t hook to a regular systainer .
I put blue tape to label them ,cuz I may change what’s inside and don’t want a permanent marker on them.

I've nested MINI systainers inside of T-Loc and SYS3 systainers, see the attached image.  The SYS3 isn't idea due to the 3rd hinge in the middle, but it works.

Shown are a Systainer3 M 137 and T-Loc IV.  The M 137 has MINI I side by side and a padded lid.  The unit closes and locks just fine.  The T-Loc IV has MINI III stacked with a MINI I and still has room.  A MINI III with two MINI Is on top is just a bit too tall.
