Quick MFT Cutting Capacity Question

Can't seem to find this info anywhere, so I'm hoping someone can throw a tape on an MFT and get a dimension.

What's the longest board I can cut using the flag stop on the fence?  In case that's not clear, I plan to rip material to say 11 1/2" on a cutting table, and then move it to the MFT to break it down into shelves- can I get repeatable cuts of 30"? 32"? 36"? More?

I am using my mft3 without the fence at the moment, so it's not installed, but the total length of the fence is 108 cm (about 42.5 inch), but part of the fence slides underneath the rail, the part of the fence behind the "notch" to fit underneath the rail is 88 cm ( about 34.6 inch)

the table is 43" long, the flag stop is mounted to the fence which is clamped to the table in the v groove, the fence can be pulled away From the guide rail to give you more length to the flag, maybe 60" or more.

Just a sidenote, the extension for the kapex is also compatible with the mft3. If you remove the standard mft3-fence you can slide the extension onto the mft angle unit. This fence has a built-in tape measure, and extends to a total length of 205 cm ( about 80.7 inch). Due to the height of the profile, this fence cannot slide underneath the rail when cutting shelves. Since I have the setversion of the kapex, I used it in this manner a few years ago; I used one of the crownextensions clamped to the sideprofile of the mft3 for extra stability, but I think the holddown for the standard fence will work adequately aswell.

Just measured,

Putting the angle unit all the way to the left, and the flag stop as far left that it will still clamp, and using the rail all the way to the right you get 77 inches.

77 inches?  That's far more than I need.  I would have never expected it to be that much.  And here I was concerned that I might not be able to get to a 36" shelf.....lol.

36" won't be a problem, because the fence is still near the rail, but if you want to to the maximum length described by jujigatame you'd need to fix a strip to the mft, because you'd want some sort of fence near the rail. (or else the fence will be hanging left of your table, with the guide at the far right end)

Yeah, the fence is hanging off the table, but you really don't need a fence at the rail if the boards you are cutting are straight.

I've cut 55 inch panels with this setup with no problems at all.
