I just completed my first Festool assisted project. It was a quilting table for my wife.

I used the TS55, MFT, Domino, RO90 and CT26. FOG has been extremely helpful in completeing this project. I was done without plans from a concept in my head.

I know it is not perfect but is the best I have ever done.

Welcome to the forum!

What a great first project.  My Mom was a sewing maniac and I wish that I had built her something like that before she passed away.  Someone is going to love that for years!  You did well!

What is your next project?

Peter

Nice. That's a great way to make a first post!  Is there any special storage in the drawers?

Seth

Very nice.  My wife is a quilter also, so I will show her this and see what she thinks.  Hope mine turns out as beautiful as yours!  Thanks for sharing, Bill

The drawers are sized to fit trays anabolic at bed bath and beyond. This allows Sue to get various sizes to store things in an organized fashion. This would not have been possible if I had created dividers. By the way the drawer unit is separate and can be rolled where it is needed.
Thanks for all the nice comments!

Great job!!!  To me, it's somewhat reminiscent of the Navy sailmaker's sewing machine that had a table that one crawled under to emerge in the cockpit, and God help you if you ever walked across the table to get into the cockpit.  The chief would have your manhood for breakfast.

Beautiful table.  My wife is a quilter and now I wish to make something similar for her.  Could you please post some more pictures?
Thanks!

Yes, I will post more pics when I get home after Thursday. I will include some pics of the pattern for the top and a few of the dimensions as well. Thanks for asking.

Nice.  I am another one whose wife has been bit by the quilting bug.  Unfortunately for her, she is usually too busy helping me build furniture.  She has a Bernina sitting in the closet collecting dust. [eek]

Another husband whose wife is a quilter, and has a Bernina in the closet.  She also has a closet full of material.  And I know she is not the only one :)

I will not be showing her this table.
