I have some project ideas using 1/2" (12mm) plywood where a rabbeted or lapped miter joint would be a good choice. There are router bits available from various sources that make this type of joint. I have read about their use and understand that they can be tricky to set up. I also understand that typically, the router table is the only method recommended for using these bits.
Here's the deal: I don't have a router table. I was wondering if an OF 1400 or 1010 with the guide stop and support foot on my MFT/3 would be able to create clean and straight lapped miter joints?
Here are the bits I am referencing: Infinity Lapped Miter Bit Set
Thanks!
