I think that all the parts of raised panel doors are much more safely and enjoyably cut on a router table. Lots of applications that can be done free hand work better on a table router. Even if you make a table for your 2200 out of a sink cut out and use a 2 x 4 clamped on to it for a fence, an extreme example I admit. You will be happier with your work and have more fingers if you use a table mounted router. In fact the only thing you will like better than one router table is two. Being able to cut cope and stick without changing bits, what joy. In fact, now that I think about it, perhaps I need 3 router tables so I could cut the panels too. Excuse me, Oh honey I have this great new idea....
