ras 115 life of a tool

i would first expect a detailed report on why this has completely failed then been ask what is this tool primary function then how long have you had it how long has it been a problem if its out of warranty
can we rebuild it at a reasonable cost we at festool strive for 100% satisfaction.

In stead i got this MSG the tool is not worth repairing if you would like it back we will have charge you
shipping [eek].. so when i called Lester i ask can you explain what the failure was he stated the armature
the coil bearings oh and it has only a 6" cord or do you like it that way. never once did he ask how old it was or give an estimate on the cost. or would you like your hard pad back it seem like new [blink].

in case everyone is wondering i spoke to David about this a few times regarding the stalling and recommended trying new brushes this didn't help much. if i have to ship it them on my dime
at the vary leased they could send it back. i have two kapex saws if it needs warranty work what
do you think it cost get that there. all anyone of us can ask for is service right.
 
Mine was the armature both times. 

It was acting funny after about 10 hours of use.

I sent it off twice, both on monday's and both returned on thursday.

If it was not 100% to begin with, I would account not really doing anything, or sending it in to be looked at a reason for its premature failure.

Some people you just can't please though.
