The ratcheting collet rocker on my OF2200 is not engaging so I can't remove the bit I have in the collet. The router is unplugged and the on/off switches are not engaged. Any ideas?

I have not had this problem, but I was thinking as long as the collet turns freely, plug the machine in and turn it on and off and then see if the rocker will engage.

Had the same issue a few days ago. It was due to wood dust getting through the cover when used in the CMS. Just take the black cover off that surrounds the collet/ shaft blow the dust out and reinstall.
Thanks Jobsworth, saved me a trip to the Festool Dealer, wood chips & dust were preventing the ratchet from engaging.Removed the dark blue cover with four screws and gave it a good clean out. Now works as normal. Thanks a million!
