Against my better judgement and only for a bit of light entertainment at my expense...

Gerry Marsden used to be very popular in the US and he did not hesitate to help me when I organised an aid convoy to help children in Odessa suffering from the after effect of Chernobyl.

I will remove this video very soon from YouTube !

You're a great man Peter. This is one of my heart affair.

Probably my favorite song from the country music made by the hippies going off to the mountain:

Dillard & Clark -- Polly

Tonight  (so, I have  evening) I see music thus:

And I go home.
Enjoy the weekend.

Meh.  Could never really get with the Femmes after the first album.

If we're going nominally Christian though, I'm happy to celebrate one of my favorite songs off the first Bee Gees album, which was one of Australia's finest musical gifts to the world:

Here is some Christian music for you:

Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others perform "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at the 2004 Hall of Fame Inductions.

The best part comes at the end.....Prince @3:30 in

Tonight:

Melissa Etheridge - Angels would fall

Melissa Etheridge - You can sleep while I drive

Dire Straits - Romeo And Juliet

Mike Oldfield and Bonnie Tyler - Islands

Mike Oldfield and Cara Dillon - Man in the Rain

But I also like the Helen "Pepsi" DeMacque version

Madeleine Peyroux - A little bit

Kind regards,
Oliver

Debussy 'Clair de Lune' - Paul Barton

Just close your eyes for 6 minutes and enjoy...

Or in orchestra form:

Wife and I recently heard All the Light We Cannot See on Audible. Clair de Lune had a role in the story. Just as hearing the tune in your head made the book richer, now the music evokes the book.

Our son singing from Pippen

This is my favorite. Our son is a senior in high school and he really loves musical theater.  He's going to major in college in performance music and business.  He may have a chance.  Wait until the end.  He can get up there...

The link did not work. I'd really like to see the performance.
