this is a kitchen i recently done with walnut worktops, i also done the floor which was just laminate, the base units are deep purple which is hard too tell because these are crappy iphone pics

oh the worktops have still too be oiled but the owner wanted too do that

thanks, i took my time with it, only bit i was dissapointed with was when i cut out the sink the router bit was burning the timber and leaving small black marks so i was going too sand them out and the owner said he liked them lol

Nice work Sean, i like that style & colours.  Where is the kitchen from ?  I don't like white carcases & dark doors, you can see white lines between the doors.
Love the black extractor, is it glass ?

I love those pull out shelves, and the (extractor) vent hood. I have never seen one like that here.
What is that drawer with the label (Hotpoint) for? Is it a food warmer drawer?

I believe it's a drawer under counter fridge

I would say it looks crips and clean, and I bet that purple really pops (argh, been watching too much HGTV).  Nicely done.  I especially like the countertops.  What is the expected life and maintenance of countertops like that?

I find it appealing to have a darker kitchen when there is good window light coming in... kinda cools things down.

believe it or not woodguy its a cook and lewis kitchen from b&Q lol, the quality was actually really good.
yeah the cooker hood/extractor is glass( £1000)  [scared] was really heavy

the worktops are ment too be oiled once a year according too the guide that comes with them, they felt like they would last forever. a bit pricey though at £500 for a 3m length, that kitchen need 3 plus breakfast bar(island) so it was £ 2000 for just the countertops [eek]

Yes very compact. I always forget how compact the fridges are in Europe, but it looks like there's no bottom to that drawer, probably just the photo.

Tim the bottom of the drawer is glass so you can see whats in the fridge drawer below, there is also a wine rack that slides out on the top drawer but i have no pics of that

Sean, I know you said that the customer was oiling the tops himself but I take it you oiled the undersides before fitting. I think for warranty purposes all surfaces need to be oiled, underside before fitting.  I think Howdens tops ask for 2coats underneath ?

Nice job.  That couch looks a bit out of place stuck in that corner !

haahaa I thought the same thing!  I was like da light looks mint on da curve!  Then also realised it was protection funny really!  DOH!

yeah woodguy i gave the underside 1 coat before i put the worktops in, did it before i finished up one night and they were dry enough in the morning
