I have a solid surface bath tub that's got a little scuffed and has yellowed with age. I'd like to refinish it to get it back to a nice fresh matt white.

Can anyone advise me how best to refinish it? I only have a Rotex 125 sander. Since I really only want to remove the yellowing and go to a  matt level of finish, will I be able to get away with only one grit level?

Thanks folks. I appreciate the advice.

Yes, the bath is a type of solid surface called Cristalplant. It's pretty much identical to Corian, but cast. Finishing techniques should be the same.

I'll try your suggestions. Any tips on how fast to move along the surface?
