Registering new tools with Festool

So, I've just bought my first lot of Festool from Axminster in the UK - an OF-1400, CMS-OF, CMS-GE and a CTL-26.
Some of the items had to be ordered and some I took away on the day. Axminster have apparently registered the router and dust extractor which I took away, but of course I have no personal record of that.

Since I now need to register the other parts I'm wondering if there's any way I can see/manage all of the registrations myself on the Festool website/app or whether I should just ask Axminster to register the other parts.  (Can I even register the CMS-OF as it doesn't have a serial number sticker on it?)

Mark.

Hi Mark

Anything that you get the dealer to register in the U.K. Is followed up by an email from festool to confirm what has been registered with them, normally takes place within a couple of days. I would expect Axminster to also register the ordered tools as well, might be worth confirming that they will do so.

You can always choose to register your own tools through the website, however when time and work take over you might end up forgetting to do so, don't ask me how this might ever happen!

The CMS table is the only part that is deemed to be a tool and has a serial number, the inserts do not qualify which I found a bit rich when I bought my router insert as is costs the best part of £500.

Enjoy the tools

The router and extractor should have been registered 10 days ago, and Axminster should have my email address so that should have got back to me.
I might try registering everything myself as I'm guessing I won't 'break' anything by doing that :)
Shame about the insert though as you say; it's worth the same as the other items :/

Thanks!

Mark.

My CMS-OF is registered.

Basic rule of thumb AFAIK: everything with both T-Nr. and S-Nr. you can register, you won't need to (or even can't) register batteries and chargers (here a copy of the invoice will do for service-all-included in case you need it).
