I’ve used those. They tend to crumble some of the surrounding plaster. They are also available in plastic, and those would not penetrate the plaster. Pre-drilling worked better with these in plaster. Easy to remove though.
Good anchors expand on the backside of the drywall. IMO, It's better to knock them into the cavity and leave a smaller hole than it would take to actually rip them out.

Thanks for sharing, could be usefull for removing regular wall anchors. I wasn't sure I even still had one of those bottle openers, (I've been using a funny one with a needle that goes through the cork and you can pump air into the bottle so it pops up from internal pressure )
