I'm neither wrong nor smug.... I simply call it; how it is. Clearly, you struggle with that.
Just because you don't agree does not make what I said wrong and you've added absolutely nothing to support, explain or expand on your position.
Care to make some more unsubstantiated claims or some more name calling while you're at it?
Unless you've got something constructive to say that actually relates to the thread... I'm finished with this conversation.
hahaha ok, so you weren't name calling in your earlier post? yeah I thought so. I see how you work. You want to dish it out and and beat your own chest but when someone calls you on it you try to take some kind of b.s. high ground. Answer a question for me please, you do in fact know what a waterproofing membrane system is and how it functions differently than a conventional mud based shower system, yes?
You're right @jtparrothed, I haven't called you a single name, not one! I have described your behaviour, but maybe you're not intelligent enough to recognise the difference. Your name calling, rude behaviour and general disrespect certainly exposes your true nature, for all to see.... I've dished nothing out, apart from responding to your unfounded and incorrect assumptions and statements...
You have not 'called me out' on anything and I am not taking any so called 'high ground'. Again I refer to my previous comment that your youth, inexperience and arrogance and laid bare- by you I might add; for all to see.
To answer your question.... If you only took a minute or so of your time to read my previous posts in this thread.... Before you hijacked the thread with your vile diatribe... Your question and silly false assumptions and accusations have already been covered.
BTW... As far as your foam (shower tray) base systems are concerned.... They were shown to me and many others at various trade shows many years ago... Unless you have inferior systems; they are easily shaped to any size shower tray- that is one of their claims to fame. They are however a 'handyman' targeted product. A standard 900x900 shower is priced at around $140.00 here and there is absolutely no benefit to using it from a tradesmans perspective- certainly not from a professional Tilers perspective although, otoh there is some merit for those people who are unable to screed...
Me, from bare floor I can have my screed, waterproofing and floor tiles all down in one day... Using the system I described in an earlier post... I like to determine the falls myself, depending on the outlet position and the tile size. That flexibility is only possible (in a practical and timely manner/sense) with a screed.
