I've just had a T-LOC SYS 2 TL delivered that was damaged in the factory. (The supplier N&B Ltd have immediately despatched a replacement.  :))

Having established a replacement was on its way and they didnt want the damaged one back. I set to work to see if I could make it useable.

The fault was that the hinge pins had not gone in straight and the inside 'holes' in the lower case were very badly distorted. Looks like some sort of insertion tooling had been misaligned.

Anyway, I tried a hot air gun to soften up the plastic so I could bend it back, and almost immediately the plastic case recovered all on its own to its original state through some sort of plastic memory effect. Job done!
