Replace motor in KAPEX KS 120 EB with motor from KS 120 REB?

Apologies if this has already been discussed. 

Is it possible to replace the motor in the KAPEX KS 120 EB (561287) with the new motor from the Kapex KS 120 REB (575306 - 2019 Model), if it eventually fails?

If what many have heard, including me, I would say yes.

Apparently the later EB’s have the upgrade parts fitted, that the latest REB’s have.
Again apparently, the later EB’s were fitted with the “Fix” right up until REB launch.

It sounds like any service replacement motors will include the new spec motor parts.  I have an ooooold (2009 vintage) Kapex that has been well behaved so I will count on it continuing to work rather than spend for a new motor prophylactically.
