I was cutting something with my Kapex 120 that shattered what on EKAT is position #13, part number 10037680, "Dust Extraction Attachment". So I ordered that part and received it quickly from Festool. But in trying to fit it back in, I must be doing something wrong. It somehow interacts with a "lever", a metal arm that works with the clear plastic "Protective Cover" to raise and lower as the blade comes down. But it's not all moving smoothly so it sometimes won't start (the guard is up) or starts but the guard won't raise, etc...scenarios like that.
So my question is - having fiddled for quite a while on this, where can I find out how to connect it all together properly. Is the one EKAT diagram all there is or ???
