Right angle adapter for vaccum end of hose for CT26?

When my CT26 is sitting under my miter saw station I've got a 36mm non-antistatic hose from my Kapex that I'd like to plug into the CT26 with the hose sticking out forward from the vac as little as possible.  Does anyone know of a right angle adapter that plugs into a 2 1/4" (or is it 2 1/2"?), makes a relatively tight 90 degree turn and then becomes a female vac connector?  Or even better is there a 90 degree end I can replace on the hose itself?

I know the tool end of the hose that comes with the CT-MINI is 27mm, but is tapered - by any chance is the vacuum end of that hose 36mm?  If so I could get one of those ends.

I'd personally test how much a 90 degree affects things.  I know that in most piping situations a 90 degree bend significantly affects flow [I do a lot of aquarium stuff].

It may not be enough to cause you issues - but personally I'd probably try to avoid the 90 degree bend if I could.  Either way I'd probably do some testing.

I have seven different vac setups utilizing Oneida's 90% bends and it has not affected any noticeable change in vacuum.  This is not to say that if some engineer tested my equipment with sophisticated equipment that he may find a loss, but in the real working environment...it's irrelevant.

In this case the usage is the 90 degree adapter will only be used when the Kapex is plugged into the CT26 directly via a shortened 36mm hose.  I think the loss of suction should be no big deal.

I have a generic 2.5 in elbow that I bought for connecting my table saw to the CT26. Don't remember where I got it, it was either Woodcraft or Home Depot, probably Woodcraft though.
