Another question
Will the t-18 90 deg Chuck work for the pdq?
Or vise a versa?

The reason I ask is I need a new drill and want both T18 and pdq,but if they are interchangeable, then I will go tool only on one of them.
Thanks in advance

I assume you mean the pdc? Answer is no.
Thanks,yes I meant pdc,was on my phone.
That's unfortunate.

I'm trying for a one systainer drill box,and wanted to consolidate.
And save a bit of money.

Why not just pick one and always use the right angle for that one. You can still consolidate and utilize the rest of the system between the two drills. I would pick the PDC to have the right angle. Just a thought.

I have a PDC and CXS in the same attic Sys2 with chucks. It remains permanently attached to a Sys1 which holds the chargers, extra batteries and two drill bit sets. Consolidation.

So what I was thinking is,
A T-18 and a pdc in one systainer
I also have a csx,and see a festool sds in my future.
So,2-drills 1-right angle attachment
2-drills and 1-charger

Maybe a sys 3 with 2-18v drills and a cxs
Or maybe the new sys -drawer all in one box.
Drills up top, bits in the drawer.
Thanks,Charlie

These new sys combi units have me thinking in that direction for my drills. Currently I have my PDC in one sys and txs in another. I like to save space where I can.

Why not use a right angle bit?

May I ask why you want to have both the T18 and PDC? If you have a CXS then a T18 is redundant. If you are wanting to save space, ditch the T18 and put your PDC and CXS in the same systainer like this...

That's what I want to do.

As far as both drills go,I don't know if I need both.
My local festool dealer doesn't have any drills to touch,so I don't know witch one to get. I want to feel them before I buy,but don't want to buy $1200 worth of drills ,just to send one back.
Thanks for the replies ,
Charlie
