I hope I'm not sounding like a "tool snob" saying this, but I always thought Rockwell was a typical discount chain store range ??

(just looked through the catalogue and it looks very "made in China")

Here is my dilemma as I've got time to work on my own house but not a lot of money for extra tools...

Tasks
1. Need to drill concrete anchors and put some rebar to tie a new slab into an old one
2. Need to mix thinset

I have
1. Old model c12
2. Hilti 14.4 Hammer and Impact Set

I can use the Hilti to set the few rebars that I have by creeping up to a 1/2' hole for 3/8 rebar by drilling a 1/4 then 3/8 then 1/2 but I'll burn the drill if I try to mix thinset with it.

Maybe my question s/b what corded 1/2" drill do people use/like?

Dewalt 1/2" corded drill works well for me.  [smile]

Could rent something if it's a one shot thing, or go the harbor freight route if you're pinching Pennies
