Hello FOG -

It's been a pipe dream for years and an integral part in getting my 1 car garage de facto shop more functional and organized. I was inspired by the flip cart design of Fix This Build That and made some mods. It's a little on the heavy duty side (three 3/4" plywood for the sides) but the intention was to not only have the structural support but the benefit of having more mass when planing large pieces of wood. The surface to which the machines are attached two were made with three pieces of 1/2" ply. There is a 1/2" all thread going through the middle and - with enough thickness - I was able to conceal it from the lateral surfaces. I used 1/2" eye bolts in the four corners which provides a total of 6 points of support. I'm still waiting for (ordered) aluminum clamping tapped through and through hand knobs that will wrap it up.

Happy Holidays!

Smart space saving idea for those of us with smaller/cramped workshops. I really like it. Well done. May have to figure out how I could incorporate this myself. Thanks for sharing.
