I have the Older model Rotex 150 and it is the most used sander in my shop.  i see the newer ones have a shield to prevent cutting in to corners when sanding close to edges set at right angles.  without the shield, it is sometimes possible to cut into the edge not being sanded.  I also have used the LS 130 with corner block where the grain of both pieces runs in same direction.  If grain is at 90º, this is not always good. Where it matters, i use a sanding block to get into those corners.  i have also found i can get a little closer with the fein multi tool, even safer than in close than with the Deltex in some instances.  Is it possible to put the same edge shield from the newer model onto the older sander?
