I am going to change all of the doors within my house.  The jambs are painted and I am going to remove the stops.  I don't want to strip the jambs down to the wood, but I do want to clean them up a bit.  My guess is that the best sanders for the job would be the Rotex and the DTS.  Any other opinions?  Also, what grit should I start at and end at so I have a good surface to prime and paint.

Also, any abrasive recommendations are welcome!

Thanks

Yup, Rotex 90 and DTS 400 are my go to sanders for this type of work. Before I had the RO 90 the DX 93 did its work, but now that I have the RO 90 the DX 93 mostly just lays there looking pretty. Think it's about time it found a new owner.
