I know festool drill heads take festool specific bits and if you use no head the standard bits fit, but the rt angle head, will it take standard bits or only festool?  I know you can get an adaptor but was curious.

Thanks for the reply.  I thought so but could not lay my hands upon one.  Looks like it will be added to the stable next week.  God I have a monkey on my back.

Bones,

Better a monkey than the green gorilla I have.  If you look at my signature line, all have been acquired in the last 12 months and I am just a hobbyist.  Everyday I still look.

I didn't mention it in my first reply, but the right angle chuck also accepts the Centrotec chuck as well as the FastFix keyless 1/2" chuck.

The eccentric chuck takes regular bits as well. The thing to note here is that the centro tec chuck acts as a bushing/ retainer when the drill is used without the bigger chucks.
