This is why it would be nice to get some updated links/videos. I've seen online demos of the ROTEX (and from trustworthy folk, not just random schmos) that go aggro even into the higher grit ranges, and then ones that recommend doing each grit in a two-step process: a first pass in aggro and then a second one in random orbital.
The proof is obviously in the pudding, and so far I have gotten great results following the second two step process, skipping grits after I reach 220. I'm just wondering if there's more economical or effective ways I could be sanding.
