Sanding sealer for paste wax

I am finishing my Wenge picture frame with paste wax and have never really used it much. I'm having problems with the wax turning white in the open grain of course. I have shellac however I woild rather stay away from shellac as I want to paste wax the bare wood and polish it to a high gloss. Shellac makes the wood look like it was finished instead of a nice polished natural wood look.

One coat of Seal Coat, then wax or clear grain filler then wax.
