I was in the shop this morning and my hands were not wanting to work so well, so I was having trouble lining up the holes on the round pad. So I grabbed some 1/4" dowel rod and a piece of scrap square stock ( 5/8 sq. & 3 3/8" long ). Got out my "Dowel-it" tool, drilled three 1/4" holes, 1/4" deep & at 1 1/8" on center on the square stock. Then glued them in, cut the dowel to 1/2" above the square stock. Grabbed my sandpaper, stuck it over the dowel pins and stuck it into the holes in the sanding pad. Perfectly lined up quick, simple and easy. Hope it helps. B PS I needed to make a few more.
