saw hood for kapex

Has anyone tried the Fast Cap saw hood pro with their Kapex?  I'd like to be able to use to saw in clients houses, without having to tent off everything. I don't feel that the Kapex hooked up to my 36AC is quite dust free enough for that purpose.

have you tried using a 36mm hose, and even better half a 36mm hose?

I'm not sure how dust free your trying to achieve but it really perfect.

are you by chance using the 27mm hose? as if you are I can totally understand where your coming from.

I'm using my 36mm Planex hose. Yes, it does catch the majority of dust, but I'd like it to be better. I'm having a hard time justifying purchasing an expensive hose, only to cut it in half, without knowing how much of an improvement that it would be.

You don't need to buy a hose and cut it in half...

We have pre-made "Short Kapex Hoses" for just this purpose ($90 plus shipping).

But on a serious note, this is not us pressuring you, just giving some info.  We have gotten some great feedback about using a short hose to improve dust collection.

It's an improvement don't worry [emoji3] I bought the cheaper non anti static hose and cut it in half. It is much better than using a full length one

yes it improves it with a shorter hose, ( stronger suction )

if you need 100% dust free though..... maybe your hood thing is the answer?

nice to get a separate hose though just for use with the Kapex and your planex hose for other stuff.
