I recently built this ash table. It is 30" tall and took nine hours from when I decided to build the table (with no prior planning) until the first coat of finish had been applied.
For the rough-scuplted upright, I used an angle grinder fitted with an Arbortech Pro wheel. To refine the shape, I used my Mirka CEROS. I tried the 3/8" interface pad but didn't like it - it seemed to cause a lot of vibration and made the sanding action less aggressive. Prior to this, I was strongly considering the RAS115 but now, I'm not sure I need it.
