yes i seen them yesterday when i was in getting my blades sharpend at the saw center glasgow and the festool rep jim was in with the whole new collect on of carvex's and they are really the biz the new stuff that is on them are endless like diffrent bases for all jobs  a light at the top of the blade to see cutting and it turns of when upside down and a auto mode that speeds up and down automatically  you in the battery models you can use your t15 lion battery's and even the old style batteries in them and even the corded model has a flip up cord so it doesn't hit walls and stuff and all of them have a toolless blade change so you just twist the blade on and of i was very impressed and the prices are relay good if you buy the batteries models bare without batteries and charger so the barell grip is on my list [big grin]

heres a scan of the new Spring offers leaflet I picked up yesterday. It shows the Carvex and says you can buy it with a sys1 full of accesories looks good also lists the prices.

hi joiner1970.

i will buy the 240 volt version next month and my sister will post it to australia.

how much is the basic package, in a systainer1 with no extras?
can you confirm which model no i should be looking at?

cheers, justin.

I'm pretty sure the batteries are identical to the t 15's I use now. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Are there dealers across the pond willing to ship to the states?  All I would need is the saw itself, I have plenty of batts and chargers.

Thanks, Dan

Its all on that pic i posted but here I will type it out for you...........knob handle version = PS400 EBQ-PLUS GB (561351) GBP 293.75 INC VAT.   ....Stirrup handle version = PSB 400 EBQ-PLUS GB (561355) GBP 293.75 INC VAT.  These codes are for 240v UK. The other set they do comes with a sys1 with accesories for GBP 451.20

Also DAN it says there that the PSC 400 is compatible with all Festool batteries.
