Should I be angry?

Interesting the various negative comments about Woodcraft. They must vary a bunch since they are franchises. I have 10 Festool dealers within an hours drive in the Los Angeles area. Only one is a Woodcraft but it is among the best, having more inventory, more product knowledge and customer service than all four Rocklers combined.

I guess it depends on where you are at in the city, but I always liked Jackson's up in San Rafael.

Most of my work was north bay, pac heights, marina, so jumping on the bridge was faster than going south.

OMG - Vindingo!  You just solved all my problems.  I didn't know Jackson Hardware was a dealer.  Guess I should have looked closer to the dealer page.  You know us city people... If it involves crossing a bridge.... ). I live in Pacific Heights.  In off commute time I can make in 20 minutes each way.  FYI, Jackson Hardware is the most expensive place in th bay area but Festool is fixed price.  Thanks.  I love this forum !!!!!

I would never by from them again.... you wasted 35 minutes to go get  what you were told they had in stock...  and had to get something else because it was not.  You can do what you want and many may think my attitude is a bit harsh...  I would not buy from them again...

I/W your right, I protest with my wallet.

I dont buy from Rockler and drive 5 miles out of my way to buy something rather then buy from them.
