But what is the story behind four (?) different brands of screwdrivers?

Yeah, I feel your pain. I've been accused of being a collector......only to be defended by someone else, saying "Oh, no. He uses all of them."( I'm the KING of tool justification!!!).![]()
Thanks......I think? LOLBambu H2D has a laser option.
Just sayin....![]()
It’s never enough……I've been planning the addition of the Sortainers to my Incra Router Table for months. Did the custom color handles and loc thing, but now that it's installed, I'm a bit... well, disappointed.
Not because the Systainers aren't of good quality. They are. Maybe partially because I envisioned they would hold everything better than the M187 and M237 Systainers I had been using (not as I had hoped), but mostly because they look pallid.
Since it's an Incra table, I wanted to use Incra colors and get away from the Festool trim. But it turns out those trim colors make the Systainer come alive. Otherwise, it's just monotone white and, like I said: rather pallid looking. Maybe it's also the white cabinet since it doesn't offer any contrast, like on the table saw cart.
I actually did this a few weeks ago after I found the M337 at the ReStore. Wanted a way to store the DeWalt DCR620 router and had a sheet of yellow Kaizen foam sitting around. Not too fancy just a simple approach.
I was at a ReStore strolling around and was about to leave when I spotted the Systainer sitting there. For $30. And a stack of five SYS-AZ drawers for $25 each.Helluva find.
What was the cost?

I don't know. If I put the Canadian latch on my current systainer, I'd then have red, white and blue together, which might provide a "mixed" message. I'd probably need to move it all to a red systainer to have it look proper, LOL.Nice setup! I hope you get the Canadian T-Loc replacement latch for that box as it's pretty appropriate! The Veritas side rabbet plane is so useful at fixing my mistakes. So in that sense, I hate when I need it haha!
These rarely travel to a job-site. I gave my Stanley 45 a systainer of it's own.Since getting a skew rabbet plane from Lee Valley, I've never figured out a good place to store it. And then after picking up a small plow plane and a box-makers plow plane during the recent "seconds" sale, decided to store them in a systainer. After a lot of trial and error with my 3D printed inserts, this is what I ended up with.

Once again, they use the cross-ribbing in the bottom of the systainer to maintain their position, and unless you were to turn the systainer on its side, they don't move at all.
There was enough room alongside the small plow plane to add storage for a large number of the blades for the two joinery planes and if I continue to add to the assortment I already have, I can add additional storage in the free space next to that insert.
I had enough space left next to the box-maker plane on the right insert that I added a place to store a Veritas side rabbet plane as well.
