I had some free time and was trying to organize my shop and got to thinking how much useless space the metal frame of my Kreg table takes up, so I threw a quick Sysport together and put the Kreg top on!  I made the overall height the same as my MFT's so I have consistent surface heights throughout. I used 3/4 extension epoxy slides and scrap material that I had lying around the shop. The drawer box was also spare and that is on an extra pair of Blum tandem slides that I had as well. The drawer has some random Kreg stuff, Festool clamps, etc. Maybe I'll paint it, but for now it's useful!

another thing to build [scared] , i must stop visiting(living [eek]) here on the fog.
how do you find the kreg table. is it worth buying the whole lot or just the top or even make your own top.

Alan,

I purchased the Kreg clamping table when it first came out.  It's excellent for assembling face frames , but it's not limited to just that. The clamps make it awesome for a variety of tasks and I find that this setup is awesome for me in the shop.

Fortunately for me, I have a Woodcraft 10 minutes away and the staff there is really helpful. It's also nice to be able to see and handle products!  I purchased the Kreg table at Woodcraft and it goes for around $250 for the top, clamp blocks, etc. The steel stand is another $150 and the casters are $60.

You could certainly make your own top...you can purchase those heavy duty clamp track rails and fab up your own to your own size!  Good luck with your endeavors...ask if you have any questions!

Also, as an FYI, since I purchased the cheap epoxy slides, I went with the 20" slides. They're only 3/4 extension and I wanted to make sure that I could extend the slide and open the systainer fully without having to remove it from it's shelf!
