Skewed Domino 500 Abrasion?

Hi There:
A quick question, with a disclaimer that I did read the note above and contacted a technician first to try and resolve what might/might not be a problem. I've just started using a new Domino 500 and cut about 45-50 mortises in 3/4 plywood for a project. I can't afford a Festool Vac just yet, so I have my other vac hooked up with a hose reducer.  It's drawing 107 cfm, so I was thinking that would be okay for clearing the sawdust while operating the Domino.

After my 45-50 mortices, I went to switch to a different sized cutter to start the face frame. I was a bit nervous when I saw the wear/residue on the bottom of the plate and the cutter arm. I realize there is barely any clearance, and that it's probably from sawdust buildup much like others have pointed out in previous posts. I am plunging very slow and the cuts are clean. What makes me even more nervous is that the wear/residue on the cutter arm is not uniform. My guess is, since the residue (sort of like carbon?) on the cutter arm is skewed opposite the hose suction side, which may be due to sawdust not being cleared on that side from the vac.  I initially thought it was the opposite, so I opened up the valve on the hose to reduce the suction, but no difference either way.  Is 107 cfm too weak to keep it clear?

I did wipe the plate and arm down, and there is some scratching evident on the plate (after wiping). The technician was great enough in offering to take a look if I wanted, but I'm in the middle of the project and don't want to part with it unless it's absolutely necessary. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Finish your project then send it in to have looked at and serviced.

That doesn't look like scratching. It looks like a residue. You might have just picked up a piece of debris from the wood that got trapped in the base of the Domino and ground up by the motion.

Clean it up and see if it repeats.
