Sleeve for vac hose

There are times I would like to temporarily connect 2 vac hoses together to work further from the vac in my shop.  I have a 36mm hose and a 27mm hose.  I have scoured the 2014 catalog and cannot find something that works.  Maybe I just missed it, but I don't think so.

Important note -- I do know how to change the fittings and semi-permanently join the two together.  That is not what I want to do.  I want to be able to have a sleeve that will temporarily friction fit the tool end of the 36mm hose to the vac end of the 27mm hose. 

Does Festool make such?

Hi Alan,

I have a solution for you, plug your 36mm hose in to your vac, then plug your 27mm (tool end) hose directly in to the 36mm hose. It has a very good snug fit. Then just simply order another 27mm tool end connector and swap out with your vac end 50mm connector. You then should end up with hoses as follows.

1 @ 36mm hose with 50mm connector 36mm connector
2 @ 27mm hose with 27mm connector 27mm conncetor

Yes this will of cause will mean that you may need to convert it back to a 50mm connector but if your primary hose is 36mm, you shouldn't need to do it to often. In any case it only takes 2 minutes.

Thanks everyone.  What this tells me is that Festool doesn't have a simple coupling that would slip on over the tool end of the 36mm hose and over the extractor end of the 27mm hose.  By slipping on "over" there would be zero reduction in suction due to the coupling.  I found a cheap dust collector coupling at Woodcraft that will work with a couple minutes modification.  This way, I don't have to "install" any special Festool couplings.
