slippery slope

This happened to me.  I tried tons of random orbit sanders and thought they were all garbage - the stuff you can buy at Lowe's and Home Depot.  I thought, man, someone has GOT to make a better version of this... what do the pros use?  Started Googling and found lots of info about Festool sanders.  Finally went to a local shop (WoodWerks in Columbus, Ohio, love those guys), talked to a gentleman who uses Festool sanders every day in his primary job as a carpenter making cabinets every day, and he convinced me to take the plunge.  I got an ETS EC 125, and it changed my life.  Honestly anyone who hates sanding needs to get a Festool sander and it will open their eyes to how good a random orbit sander can be.

That said, I only own two Festool products - the sander and an MFT clamp I just got yesterday, hah.  I want to see if it fits my Kreg track saw.  But anyway, I have plans to eventually get a Domino and a vacuum for dust collection, and I'm in desperate need of the new cutting table but that may not happen in time for the preorders to close, hah.  But yes one good Festool will suck you down the rabbit hole.
