small band saw

i will festool made a small bandsaw for site use . all the small bandsaws at the moment a cheap and only designed for the diy market. i feel there is a neiche in the market for a small bandsaw that is build to the quality of the bigger models. i know there is the jigsaw in the cms but a dedicated bandsaw would be much better for lots of jobs.

A mounted jig saw would probably equate more closely to a scroll saw than to a band saw.

Completely different tools.

If you look at the Hammer/Felder website they have added a smaller bandsaw to the range, looks like a mini version of the N4400, and I think it's about £600. Might be worth a look?

Not actually sure if it's made by Felder or not; not branded Hammer. Any thoughts? Maybe someone more knowledgeable could chip in?  Anyway, hope this is useful.

Here's what you might be looking for. It's small, designed for on-site use and definitely a bit beyond the DIY market in quality and especially price.

But it ain't green... [sad]
