So what did everyone get for Christmas?

I asked for only one thing myself this Christmas... money. I was determined to get a new tool I really wanted so I begged my family to give me cash to put towards that purchase. What did everyone else get this year?

So did you get enough cash?  I did the same thing. Asked for the Carvex, but knew it wouldn't happen so I said the second thing on my list is gift cards, all to the same place. :)

THEN I get what I want.

Cheers

I did when I put it with what I had saved. I upgraded from my "contractor special" tablesaw to a new professional SawStop, and bought the accessory kit for my carvex. I just finished fine tuning the saw yesterday and am really looking forward to jumping into a few projects now.

javascript:void(0)  I got money and I'll be able to get exactly what I want / need.  The woodworking show in MA is in 7 days and I plan on leaving there a fair bit "poorer" than when I arrive.  I wish Festool would show up at these shows.  They are missing a great opportunity to give a "taste" of the green cool aid to a whole new group of folks that have never had the opportunity to test the tools and to talk to folks that know what they are talking about.

The company putting on the show is doing a great thing for all Military, Fire and Police personnel.  If they show a valid ID, they get FREE admission to the woodworking show.  It's great to see a company showing their appreciation to the folks that labor long and hard to protect us and to keep us safe and free.

Awesome man!  I am looking at combining my cash/gift cards/saved income for a Carvex and acc. kit this month.  I have some scroll work to contend with and would rather do it myself than head to a friends with a band saw...  Enjoy that SawStop... nice piece of kit.

yeah i got cash and gift cards. I ended up buying a dts 400, The superfine sanding pad for my ets 150, rail connectors, splinter guards for ts 75, festool hand sanding sponge, 52 tooth blade for my ts75. It was a good christmas.

Got cognac glasses from the Misses. Bought myself the bottle  [laughing]
Toolwise... From Ebay I got myself a Bailey Nr 4 but it's missing a skew from the tote  [embarassed]

Best wishes to all
