Precision slotted, torx, and Phillips.  Laser #2 Phillips  6", T25.  Couple T-handle hex. Torx insulated for the insulated Kompact handle.  And precision chip lifter that looks handy for other things.

Nice! LOVE Wera! All I use for hand drivers in the shop! Wait for KCToolco.com to do their 10-15% off coupons as those are typically the best prices I have found.

Question Seth, why the need for the insulated Torx Bits?  [blink]

Ran into a Torx screw in a panel recently.  Maybe it's not normal, I don't know, but there it was.

I already have the handle so I figured why not?

I wanted to buy a few Wera screwdrivers, but I didn't cuz they all have the same color handle and are indistinguishable from each other in a tool bag. I like to know exactly what I'm pulling out of the bag even when tools are in the wrong place at times

Funny you bring this up ......................  I was just looking on the Wera USA site for some info and noticed that they are adding color coding to the top of the 300 and stainless line. Maybe others ?

See color chart in right column of boxes.

I have this [darn] forum to thank for my Wera addiction.  Really like the 1/4" Zyklop set for all around shop use.

Question for the long term Wera users. Did you find the handles comfortable from the beginning or did it take a while to get used to them? Every time I pick one up in the store that handle doesn't fit my hand the way I like.

I liked mine from the get go. But some folks don’t.  Wera isn’t the only game in town either. Take a look at Felo, Gedore, Wiha, Hazet.

KC Tools handles them

Snap-on screwdrivers also get rave reviews as well

The handle comfort / ergo is going to really depend on the person. I liked the Wera from the start. If you really want to know I suggest getting one in a common size and trying it out. The way it feels just holding it compared to using it can be quite different ....... which goes for any brand.

In general I don't like handles that are completely covered in grippy material. I find that it makes them hard to turn quickly. The Wera 300 series is a nice combination of grip and quick turning.

My other favorite handle is on the old Craftsman Pro series. When they were solid hard handles (the bottom one in the picture, no longer available) not the newer mixed material.

If looking at Snap On they make two different handle types.

Same here, I found that Felo set. They are the same color but with identification from the top. It's hard to find a complete set and buying individually comes pretty expensive  [mad]

I bet Wiha, Wera and Felo are all sleeping in the same bed  [eek] (nothing wrong with that tho)

Hi!

Cool scores Seth!

Seems you had the same luck with that panel that I have when dismantling something: There's always that one type screw/bolt you didn't expect to find in there. lol.  [eek] [blink] [scared] [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

Kind regards,
Oliver

Since the thread is „Wera goodness“, have you checked the wooden style WERAs?

I inherited some and like them.
But I do prefer the Kraftform handles, and as others said, liked them from the get-go.

But we are all snowflakes! So take what fits you, snowflake. ;)

Thanks to you guys, I've joined the Wera bandwagon.

I just bought the Wera Kraftform Big Pack 300 14-piece screwdriver set with wall mountable rack (that I doubt I use).  Wera part number 05105630001.

I paid $78.99 with free shipping on eBay.  They're running a 10% eBay Bucks promo through tonight that you have to activate first. https://www.ebay.com/itm/253114917084

Slotted Screwdriver: 3.5 x 0.6 x 100mm
Slotted Screwdriver: 4.0 x 0.8 x 100mm
Slotted Screwdriver: 6.5 x 1.2 x 150mm
Phillips Screwdriver: #1 x 80mm
Phillips Screwdriver: #2 x 100mm
Phillips Screwdriver: #3 x 150mm
Pozidriv Screwdriver: #1 x 80mm
Pozidriv Screwdriver: #2 x 100mm
Pozidriv Screwdriver: #3 x 150mm
Torx Screwdriver: TX 10 x 80mm
Torx Screwdriver: TX 15 x 80mm
Torx Screwdriver: TX 20 x 100mm
Torx Screwdriver: TX 25 x 100mm
Torx Screwdriver: TX 30 x 115mm

I also bought #1, #2, and #3 Square drive Wera screwdrivers individually.  I could not find these in a set.  I really wish the handles were green and black but for some reason they are red and gray.  (#1 - 05100070001, #2 - 05100071001, & #3 - 05100072001)

I'm already thinking about Wera nutdrivers and I don't even have these yet.  Slippery slope indeed.

Nice! I have all those drivers. Never been anything but great for me! Hope you like em!

Nice purchase.  I bought the Wera Kraftform 3mm and 5mm hex drivers and dedicated them to my MFT3 setup tools.  To my hand they are the most comfortable drivers in my tool box.

The square drive are color coded for the sizes. Black / Gray ( #3?) , Red #2 , Green #1.

Wera has recently started adding color ID to the handle end for other drive types. Be interested to know if you get the newer or older handle markings?

I know I shouldn't care what color they are but for some weird reason I want consistency.

You can get the square drives with red & gray in all three sizes if they come packaged for retail sale.  Not sure why the colors vary for bulk sales of the same sizes.

Me too! So now after reading that they are switching to coloring their drivers Im happy I bought all of mine already so that all ming match. I never was too into the color coding deal as its not like there is any standard among manufacturers so I doubt Ill ever memorize which color is which. I suppose I might get more used to grabbing the colors I use the most, but still I dont think it would be that useful.
